Thanks to all who came out to ROCK at Birdy's with us again! It was another great show, though it was not the same as "the fan" could not attend due to a bad illness. BYND was great as well and we thank them for putting us on their flier! There drummer beat the snare so hard he put his stick through it! That was cool! We look forward to returning to battle of the bands sometime in June at one of the greatest venues in the city, Birdy's!

The band is currently working on new material so listen for some of the new songs at our upcoming live shows. We also now have T-Shirts available for $15 at our shows as well. So be cool and GET ONE!

NEW SHOW!! We will be back at Birdy's Wednesday May 21st! We will be Rock'n with a band called BYND. You can check them out at www.myspace.com/byndthisindy. There is another band but im not sure who it is yet. Sounds like place may be packed so if you missed the last show then you have another chance!

On another note we were rejected in our attempt to play this May at the Florida Music Festival. Let me just say to the selection committee, another GREAT job in picking out a rock'n show. It would have actually been cool had you selected us but after some thought I understand that you wanted to keep Florida the old boring State that it is. Owe by the way, Lawrence Welk called, he wants his pointless festival back. I mean no disrespect to the Great Lawrence Welk who's show was much more exciting than the Florida Music Festival.

Since in my opinion the Florida Music Festival does not contain any cool bands, you will not see any bands with an Action Custom Strap!! If you have not already done so, check them out on our links page and see us featured on the site!!

Finally, I have some GREAT news. One of the greatest bands of all time, and i mean in ROCK history, is releasing their new album entitled 12 Angry Months. Yes thats right! Local H is BACK!!! The very band who graced the stage at Birdy's releases the CD on May 13th. This great band is not playing the Florida Music Festival either, hmmmm....

Thanks To ALL who made Birdy's one rock'n night! Special thanks to "the fan" who made the night what it was! Birdy's was a great place to play and we hope to get invited back! It was a true honor to rock on the same stage as Local H.

THIS SITE IS TEMPORARILY OUT OF COMMISSION FOR 7 DAYS.

After being exposed to rap music filled with foul language and debased material while waiting for our song to be played on AceDeckRadio, which by the way NEVER GOT PLAYED!!!!......................I have felt the need to spend the next 7 days listening to nothing but ROCK music in order to cleanse my ears. As to why our song did not get played as PROMISED, well I guess we got ACE’D.

Congratulations LACEY! The Song Which We Shall Not Name as well as Burn won this week’s reviewers picks best female vocals award in Alternative Rock category at Garageband.com. Burn also won best female vocal award over all categories for this week as well! The drummer has won nothing. It makes me sick how the drummer always gets forgotten. As happy as I am for Lacey, I must say, I wonder how many awards she would win WITHOUT A DRUMMER!

1/19/2008 Band Update

The Band has been busy promoting the new E.P. with a mission to ROCK. We will begin to play sometime in March so look for upcoming dates to be announced and spread the word. Our E.P. will soon be available on CDBaby.com as it is currently on our site and at upcoming shows. The Website is nearly complete thanks to the hard work of Aron at Galactec Solutions. A FREE MP3 download of heavy pictures is available at Garageband.com.

Thanks to all of you who sent cover song ideas. We have compiled them and came up with the five most requested covers. 1) We’re Not gonna take it – Twisted Sister 2) School’s out – Alice Cooper 3) Absolution – Muse 4) Complicated – Avril Lavigne 5) Misery Business – Paramore

My first thought was, who are you people? Since the songs do rock, we will pick one from the list. Thanks for your help.

I would also like to make a personal statement. To all my out of State cheap friends: I know you still have not bought a CD. Please remember, just because you are out of State does not mean I don’t know who you are and where you live.

The CD is now available. The band was given one great party! Thanks to Taylor and Lacey for getting everything together it was a blast! Special thanks for Bentley’s Bar and Grill in Fishers for hosting the party. You guys are great and make some mean drinks!

As you know the site is not all complete but rest assured we are working on it relentlessly. The CD is available to purchase on the site now. You can pay via your major credit card or your pay pal account! Some of you have mentioned that you would prefer to buy it from us personally as you felt that the credit card info on our site “looked suspicious”. All I can say is some of you know me too well. JUST KIDDING!! You will be able to get a CD if you want at any of our upcoming shows. Our shows will be posted if we ever get booked.

Ok moving on. We are looking to add a cover or two to play at upcoming shows and would love some ideas. You can send cover ideas on contacts page.

I would like to mention one last thing. After our last show, some of you reported that you saw a Jeep that looked like mine swerve off the road to try and hit a dog. I would like to publicly put an end to this and say it was not my Jeep. We did not go home that way that night. I only hate one dog in my life and that dogs name is Dippy. Though I would not shed a tear if that dog was put down (humanely) I wish it no harm.

We are finally done with the studio. Corey Miller did a great job with the disk. Look for the availability to be announced soon. We owe Corey as well as Andy Symons over at the Lodge Studios a big thanks for making this a fun experience. They did a great job! We also owe Terry a Big thanks for all the hard work in helping us with our art work. I promised Terry I would plug his site all I could since we had no money to pay him. I will start by saying none of our guitarist could have performed well with out their custom strap from Action. You can get one at actioncustomstraps.com. You should also know that the ladies have not left Alex alone since he wore his Action Guitar Strap at our last show.

Well our first ever CD is officially underway. We just finished first weekend ever at the studio and they did not kick us out! Studio must really need the money. Aaron came on Saturday and performed one of the songs he wrote. It was good to see Aaron again and it was nice that he was able to lay down a track after all the hard work he put into the band over the past year. We owe the studio a big THANKS for putting up with a sub par talented drummer and giving us a great experience. Lacey still has few more songs to finish and we then will move to next phase.

We played our first show at Mikes Barn with our new Bass player Chris. Chris was amazing and did a great job for us! Special thanks to Wassal for inviting us to perform. It was a tough show since all of us were sick. We had to keep an eye on Levi as he looked like he could pass out at anytime. The Ebola like virus must have lasted for a week. We hope to get well before our studio work begins. The show went well but nobody danced with Billy. In fact this is our third show at the Barn and we have never seen Billy. If anybody has a picture of Billy please let us know.
